MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Memphis 901 FC has added forward Rashawn Dally to its roster ahead of its 2019 inaugural season opener, the club announced Tuesday.
Dally joins 901 FC on loan from Major League Soccer side, FC Cincinnati.
Pending league and federation approval, Dally joins forward Junior Sandoval, defender Louis Bennett, defender Marc Burch, defender Wes Charpie, forward Heviel Cordovés, midfielder Raul Gonzalez, midfielder Ewan Grandison, defender Morgan Hackworth, defender Triston Hodge, goalkeeper Scott Levene, midfielder Dan Metzger, defender Josh Morton, midfielder Duane Muckette, midfielder Adam Najem, midfielder Leston Paul, defender Todd Pratzner, and forward Luca Uccello on the team’s 2019 roster.
“Rashawn is an exceptional talent that can play a number of attacking spots,” 901 FC head coach Tim Mulqueen said. “He possesses great power and speed.
“And with a combination of great technique, he should be very exciting for our fans to watch.”
Dally was selected with the 49th overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft and signed by FC Cincinnati on February 6.
A four-year standout at Quinnipiac University, Dally started in 77 of the 78 games he played in scoring 16 goals and recording 15 career assists. Internationally, Dally has attracted interest from the Jamaican National Team earning an invite for the team’s camp in March 2018.
A native of Bloomfield, Connecticut, Dally played high school soccer at Bloomfield High School for his first two years before transferring to Watkinson School for his junior and senior seasons. He helped Bloomfield High School win a state title in 2012 and earned all-state honors throughout his high school career.
